On 16 May, Eastern League regular season and Chiba Lotte in Tokyo and Tokyo Yakult 7th round match in Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium ended in a 5-4 win for Chiba Lotte.

Chiba Lotte starter Kota Futaki pitcher allowed runner in each of the three innings, but did not allow a run. He retired three batters in the fourth and fifth innings, but in the top of the sixth, with runners on hit and stolen base on base, he allowed an RBI single to Ryuei Ito. With two outs and the bases loaded, Seiya Hashimoto and Ren Sawai hit back-to-back RBI singles to end the inning, leaving the game after 97 pitches hit 9 Walk 4 strike out 3 runs in six innings. In the top of the seventh, Daiki Iwashita pitcher tied the game with no runs.

In the bottom of the seventh, with two outs, Seiichiro Oshita hit a solo shot to bring home one run. Fuki Tanaka pitcher, who moved up to mound from the eighth inning, gave up one run in the top of the ninth on back-to-back doble, but in the bottom of the ninth, back-to-back singles by Shogo Nakamura and Kyuto Ueda players put runners on first and second with no outs. Then, Masami Ishigaki hit a three-run double to send the game to a extra inning tiebreaker.

After Toshiya Nakamura pitcher tied the game with no runs in the top of the 10th, Koshiro Wada loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the 10th on a sacrifice bunt. Acevedo followed with an RBI single to make it 2-0 count and end the game 5-4. Shogo Nakamura scored five points in 12 hit, including four hit and two Kyuto Ueda hit, and Chiba Lotte earned their first walk-off win of the season.
