On 19 April, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win 4-3 in the fourth round match between Eastern League regular season and Oisix Niigata Hokkaido Nippon-Ham at Kamagaya Stadium in The Fighters.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham took the lead in the first inning on a two-run single by Naoki Arizono in the fourth. However, starter Kyosuke Kuroyanagi pitcher gave up one run in the top of the second inning on a solo shot by Rei Asai and then tied the game with one out and third on a two-hit single. He gave up three consecutive hits in the top of the fourth, including a run, and exited the game after 6 innings of 99 pitches, 8 hit 1 Walk 6 strike out 3 runs.

After the 7th inning, Keito Matsuura pitcher connects 2 inning with no runs. With one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, Takuya Nakashima hit and Kazuki Miyazaki stole second and third on a double steal by Walk and Yuma Imagawa hit a two-run RBI single. In the top of the ninth, Takumi Yamamoto pitcher closed out the game with a three-out tie and the game ended 4-3. Oisix Niigata back-to-back wins. pitcher Matsuura scored his first win of the season.
